CONCERNED CITIZENS
CONDEMN DELHI BOMB BLASTS
We,
the undersigned, strongly condemn the ghastly serial bomb blasts that
took place in Delhi on Saturday, 29th October 2005.
Any
form of terrorism – any attack on life or on property – has no place in
the efforts to build a more humane, just and peaceful society.
We
sympathize with all the victims of these blasts – very specially, with
those who have lost their loved one / s.
We
ask those responsible for these dastardly acts, to eschew violence – to
stop destroying the fabric of society.
We
urge the Governments – both at the Centre and at the State, to ensure a
non-violent, harmonious and peaceful society in which the legitimate
demands of the exploited and the marginalized are addressed and
redressed.
We
finally call upon all our fellow brothers and sisters to do all within
their means to let the spirit of this festive season of Diwali and of
Eid to triumph, so that all of us can enjoy the peace and the prosperity
of an India which is just, tolerant, secular and vibrant.
